Clinical Cancer Geneticist - Health Sciences Professor Series

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Geneticist with expertise in cancer genetics to join our clinical and academic faculty of 12 geneticists and 12 genetic counselors. The Division provides outpatient care and inpatient consultation services to a diverse patient population in the cancer genetics clinics at UC Irvine Health, the NCI designated Chao Familiy Comprehensive Cancer Center, and in pediatric, metabolic, adult, and prenatal genetics clinics at UCI and our affiliated hospitals. Division faculty members also participate in clinical and didactic training of residents, fellows, genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, other trainees and provide community outreach. Clinical or translational research participation is possible and encouraged and there are many possibilities for collaborative research.  Basic required qualifications include an MD, MD-PhD, or equivalent, and a California physician and surgeon license or eligibility to become licensed as well as ABMGG certification, active candidacy in Clinical Genetics and Genomics, or another relevant specialty.
